I got the internship!! I will be interning at Alpine Fitness/Physical Therapy as part of my studies this semester! It's a requirement to get 200 hours of some related internship as a part of my major. The facility in Alpine is super nice and the Directors seem very welcoming. I'm so excited to be working with personal trainers as well as physical therapists! It should give me a broad experience but it seems like a lot of work. It should be since it's taken up 4 credits of my schedule.
Speaking of schedules...the times I have to be up in Alpine (30 min from my house) are 6am Tuesdays and Thursdays and 7am on Saturdays. Luckily I'm only their for four hours so I have time to come home and nap if I need to.
The link to the facility is here if you would like to check it out! I took in a lot of information today at the interview so more about what I'll be doing will come later...once I start actually doing it! Should be a good experience I think!!
With this new internship and Dave getting the job at the library our schedules are almost completely opposite :( Luckily we have no social lives but to hang out with each other! haha But it's true. Anyway, sorry for the short blog with no pictures. It's 9 and I should be getting in bed! Happy First Day of School!!

Invasion Of Atwood
We are all moved in! Not going to lie, I had a little panic moment being in such an old house and being crammed into a shared room again after the luxurious life of the loft. However, after I got my stuff in and we decorated it didn't seem so much like a jail cell and it now has some charm and character.
Perks of being in a house are you really do feel like you have a lot more space. I have a cute little driveway where I park my car. There's a total of 4 steps to get into the house. No immediate neighbors that bang on their ceiling because we're being to loud upstairs. Our couches are oober comfortable!
Some downsides. The air conditioner is in the front of the house, and my room is in the back. Our desks are on in the main living room, which actually in my mind is a good thing. Dave got a job at the library, so that should force me to confine myself to a cubical. I just never have any classes over their so I never go. There's only one bathroom for 4 girls. I thought there was not going to be enough storage space in my room but I actually manage to fit everything. Basically...I thought there were a lot of cons, but turns out that it isn't bad at all!

Want to see some pictures :)
The roommates! Minus Celinda who arrives tomorrow!
I wanted a picture of the whole house and of course, this is one picture that Dave took. haha
Then Kirkalicious wanted to go to Olive Garden for all you can eat pasta! It was kinda like the last supper before the semester starts. So happy to be back with these guys. (Don't worry mama, I still miss you all the time!)
Can't get this kid to take a normal smiling picture. Such a goofball!
That is the start of the semester for ya! I'm starting to get a little worried about classes since that's the next step, but I've managed to make it this far right?! :) Oh school...I think it causes more stress than learning sometimes. Well, I must go grab more chicken for dinner tomorrow!! I'm turning into such a domesticated woman. haha Happy Saturday!

A Month At Home
Am I really going back to Provo tomorrow? Am I really starting my Junior year of college already? Am I really getting married in 115 days? Are you sure I went on my study abroad already? Seriously, where did the time go!!

| We don't wear makeup in the summer. Don't judge |
| Off the rack! Only had been tried on once! I love my dress. |
What did I do while I was at home? I planned almost my entire wedding. I ate lots of good American food (the picture is actually at a family dinner at rio grande...haha). I spent time at the beach with the Bracero family. I hung out with my mama aka my wedding planner. I went out to my dad's house with Dave. I went to Busch Gardens. I helped my sister move into her new apartment down in Norfolk. So really out of the entire month I was probably home for maybe a little over half of it, but I still enjoyed every second. I'll be home in October for a bridal shower, for Thanksgiving, and then for the big day!! :) Time is seriously flying by and I can't wait to see what this semester has in store for me. Hope everyone had a great summer! (still can't believe it's over...) Happy Wednesday :)
PS. The blog will be updated more frequently as the semester goes on. Trying to keep up and journal this important time in my life, so if anyone senses some slacking you have every right to yell at me. ;)

Happy August!
Time is flying!
I got back from Europe a little over a week ago and I literally hit the ground running with wedding planning. It's been fun, but I have also had my stressful moments.
Things that are planned/bought:
-sealing in the temple
-reception location/food...just linens have to be picked out I think.
-wedding dress
-suits for groom and groomsmen
-invitations
-photography/videography...almost!
-flowers
-honeymoon
Thinks that still need to be done:
-band/DJ...very close to checking this off!
-cake
-bridesmaids skirts... we have a seamstress in mind to make them out in Utah
Then all the little odds and ends that have to been done. Engagements have to be taken/printed. Have to buy Dave's ring. Jewelry/shoes/hair/makeup all has to be decided. Invitations have to sent. Getaway dress has to be found! All those little details. But those things we still have 4 months to figure out. All the big stuff will be planned before I head back to school.
We think we are going with Washington Talent for the photographer, videographer, and entertainment. One of the photographers is actually going out to SLC in September for one photo shoot so we are able to have him take our engagements too! That helps with the whole package deals photographers usually offer. We still aren't sure about a DJ or a live band...that's more of a budget issue we are trying to work out. I'm OK either way just as long as I can get my groove on :)
Everything is moving along quite nicely!! Dave will be home in 10 days, but I've still got some things to be planned up here while he's down in VA. I will see him eventually! I think a trip to the beach and Busch Gardens is in motion :) 22 days until I'm back in Provo. This time is flying which is good and bad! I love being engaged and planning a wedding, but I can't wait to get married let alone be back with my fiance in Provo! I cannot believe my study abroad has come and gone and I'm starting my second half of college this Fall!! Enjoying every second! Happy Wednesday and August!!
