No Title Can Describe My Day

Today has just not been my dad. I had a post all ready to submit, didn't get wifi in my class, and lost everything I wrote about my bad day...I thought it couldn't get any worse. I should just go to bed now until tomorrow. oh wait, I have to go to class for another 2 hours.

BAD:

If you know anything about me it's that I hate when people say they will do something and then they don't do it. My roommates agreed to go get our new housing contracts at 10 this morning...wasn't exactly 10. Of course I'm the driver...another pet peeve. And I have to speed to the management office, sign contracts and get back in order to do my work that I wanted to get done before class. Also, money. I hate it. I'm going to Europe for my study abroad this summer and let me tell you...it's not cheap. Then I had to put a deposit down on the new contract...I just feel like all I've done this month is spend money. Next. my pink camelbak water bottle that I take everywhere officially died today. OH another thing about housing (man I hate it). I hate the feeling of getting ripped off. Now I find out today that my 2 of my roommates have sold their spring/summer contracts. Since when did they have first dibs on buyers? Gah...it all revolves around money. All of it! Next. the eggs I made for lunch today had a funny taste. The date says they expired but my lovely boyfriend said they were fine so I ate them. Yum. I had no milk for cereal this morning either. What did I do to wallow in all these sorrows? I ate quite a few Hershey kisses. Am I done ranting?...

GOOD:

MY MAMA IS COMING TO PROVO TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just a little bit excited. It honestly is what is getting me through today. Not only is she coming but she's bringing me a box of girl scout cookies since I can't seem to find them anywhere in this state. I just really can't wait to see her and I get to spend her birthday with her! School wise...I got above the class average on my last physiology test by 9%. Other than that school work seems to be piling up. Stay on track with GOOD...although contracts have been a pain our house we are living in next year is very cute (picture below). That's pretty much all the good I can give ya...sad I know.

T-minus 6 hours until bed. Yup, I'm going to bed at 8.

Too Much Time, But Not Enough Time

This has happened to me all day today. If you don't know what I'm talking about...just keep reading.

1. I had class from 7-8 then I walked up to the testing center ready to take my test to realize it's MONDAY testing center doesn't open until 10. Didn't feel like walking back so I studied (should have walked back).

2. I finished my test at 10:45. I have class at 12. More waiting time...

3. I ended up skipping my class at 12 and got lunch with Dave. I didn't feel like sitting in physiology after studying for physiology the whole weekend. It was my present to myself for finishing my test. ANYWHO, I'm now sitting here (12:45) waiting until my lab at 2.

Now that I have stated this I sound more lazy than anything. I promise I'm not! Walking back and forth from campus wastes precious time. Whoever decided to build it on a hill was a dummy.

That is my day. At least I'm in charge of dinner group tonight and guess what we are having?!? BREAKFAST! :) my favorite. Happy Monday!

Favorite Food: Cereal

Some of you may remember this post and how I could describe the textures, colors, flavors, etc. of almost every type of cereal. Well, this lovely Friday afternoon I thought I would dedicate this post to "vegging-out" and eating lots of cereal!! Dave is out training with ROTC for tonight until tomorrow afternoon so I get to be my own date tonight...and I'm SO excited :) My last grocery run consisted of this:

Valentine's Day

I'll be honest. I have never really liked valentine's day. It's probably because most of the time I haven't had a valentine. This year I had one and we both agree that we both still don't like Valentine's day haha. Just express love EVERY day! Well I still bought Dave a lovesac for his valentine's/birthday gift and he took me out to dinner and made me this:

Isn't it cute!? haha I told him I wouldn't put it up on facebook, but who said anything about instagram or  my blog? ;) I just thought it was the best present to find on my bed after a long day of classes! It's Go Time

Church is always time for rejuvenation. We all slowly fade through out the week...or at least I do. But I want to stop that fading. I have planned out my week and although it's filled with lots of homework and studying that's what I wanted.

My path in life keeps changing because Heavenly Father keeps throwing things at me that make me second guess where my life is heading. I really do think this last curve ball is it. It's GO TIME! I'm working on assigning classes for spring semester and maybe even signing up for online classes simultaneously. I don't want to over do myself, but it's go big or go home and I'm up for the challenge. 

My current bishop has impacted my life tremendously for the better (a main reason why this post is being written). I know he loves me and everyone in the ward and he loves this gospel with all of his heart. He's a great example to me and someone I know I could call if I ever needed too. Unfortunately, the bishopric is being released next week. I will miss Bishop Henley and Brother Thorn (who was going to be my skiing buddy!) but I understand enough that this is what those three men need. I will be forever grateful!

So here's to a productive week and some fun in between :) 

Tuesday

Yes, it's Tuesday. Nothing special. Just thought I would blog today about how I had a testing-center-disappointment. For those of you who know what I'm talking about...doesn't it just ruin your day! For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about...its when you are sitting down taking your test, your feeling great about it, and then you look at the monitor after you've turned in your test and it's an "ok" score. You didn't bomb it, but definitely a disappointment. Hopefully you all will pass this test:

No Tennis For Me

I had to drop my tennis class for second block of this semester :( but it is for the prep class for my study abroad!  Still kinda bummed. I'm sure Europe will be worth it right? ;) haha

Has is really been a year since this post !! Well, I'm officially no longer a teenager! This is what happened this weekend. Saturday Dave took me to Happy Sumo sushi, my fav. Sadly, I didn't get a single picture. But I did get a picture of my little shin dig my roommates threw for me tonight:

So the 20's is going to be filled with lots of exciting adventures. I can feel it. This is the one of the first birthdays that I actually FEEL older. AH I'm so excited :) I had a wonderful weekend and now back to reality...Happy Sunday!

Happy February!

Happy February 1st! A lot of people don't like February because A. it's winter and B. they don't have a valentine. However, I LOVE February because A. I love winter and being on my board and B. it's my birthday! (which has made up for the lack of a valentine part haha.)
