Haircut
This is not a dramatic change...sorry to disappoint. However, I have come to discuss how much I love haircuts. My last haircut was December, so this was much needed. That clean cut and moisturized feel. Yes..you all know what I'm talking about. I went to a new salon and saw a new stylist recommended by a friend of mine at work. She's GREAT! (and cheaper than my other stylist. extra bonus) I loved the way she worked and she's super nice and listened to all of my requests. So, if you are looking for a new hair stylist--let me know!

Letters To Juliet
I just watched this movie for the first time tonight and I LOVED it. I thought it was just the cutest story and great actors. Ah. Just thought it was great. Ps. I want it to be my life....Anywho, if you haven't seen it watch it. So good!

What To Do When...
What to do when:
-you have a sprained ankle?
-you have watched enough TV?
-you have done the limited exercise allowed?
-you don't feel like reading anymore?
AND- you have extra bananas in the freezer?
Well duh!

Make Banana Bread!
So this is exactly what I did. Now, I've lost quite a few l. b.'s this summer and I'm not about to go pig out on my delicious banana bread (and I must say...it's pretty darn good). Instead, I made cute little banana cupcakes which gave me that little satisfaction I needed :)

Family Reunion
Here are just a few from the Huguely/Strazza/Johnson (my grandma and her two siblings) Reunion. It was so great to see some of my extended family who I haven't seen in over a few years. Although time was minimum and it flew by we all had a great time. Hope you had a great 70th, Toots! Glad we were all their to celebrate.
Countdowns:
29 days until Elder Ben Snow is HOME!
35 days until Utah!
Also more excited news: I've completed my 300 hours for the Dietetics application! Glad I planned ahead and I don't have to scramble come February. Also study abroad applications will be in motion soon. :) Updates on that when they start.

Look Who's Slackin'
I disappeared from the blogging world for a little bit, but I'm going to work on it! Updates, I've been working, working out, going to the beach, eating, sleeping, and hanging out!
--I've made around 3500 dollars since I've been home and my goal from now until to school is to not spend any money only for gas. Thank I can do it?
--Emerald Isle, NC is beautiful! I went with the Andersons for a week and had such a fun time at their beach house!
--I deactivated my facebook. Just wanted to test out the waters with out it. So far I'm a big fan. Not wasting as much time!
--Our Family Beach Reunion is next week and I'm really excited to see all my cousins I haven't seen in awhile.
--I'm officially headed back to Utah on August 22nd. Plane ticket has been purchased
--Ben Snow comes back in about 40 days and I can't wait to see him and catch up on the past two years!!
PS. Happy Fourth of July!!
That's all for now! :)

Happy Birthday, Pop!
Happy Birthday to the best grandfather ever. Pop, you are one of my consistent blog readers so i know you will see this soon. I look up to you in so many ways and I'm positive there is no question you can't answer. I'm still amazed at all the knowledge you hold in the head of yours--including every gas station and store passed during a drive to the beach. If I marry someone half as good as you I will be very lucky. I love you :)

O'Donnell's
I love my job. Want to know why? I work with some of the funniest people and I definitely can't complain about the money. I went through about a week and a half of training and I have had 3 nights now working my own tables. So here's my O'Donnells story:
During my interview I couldn't stop thinking about how this was the completely wrong job. The manager scared me a little and I just kept second guessing myself. But it was a job so I stuck with it. I went to training which included a lot of shadowing and 3 exams. Yup. I had 3 written exams. One of the restaurant standards, food, and alcohol. Let's just say I did really well on the first two, and really REALLY struggled with the last one. However, I did pass, and I'm officially a server! :)
Now the people I work with are hysterical! Just to name a few of my buddies. Marcelo aka Tuna was my main trainer. Luis is my go to guy with all my questions. Rene and Carlos are brothers, but opposites. Carlos likes to joke around, but is very serious when it comes to work. Rene is mostly in the kitchen and he helped me the most when learning about food. Gus. Gus winked at me my first day-kinda weirded me out, but deep down he's a big softy haha. We are best buds. Brittney is a cute blonde from California. She's my go to girl for my "stupid questions" because she won't laugh at me like some of the boys might. Vicky is the crazy asian. She's our comic relief. Enough said. Matt aka Charlie is one of the bartenders. Everyone tells the new people his name is charlie, so that's now his name...It's just always crazy fun over there and I cannot complain about the other servers that I work with. If I had a dollar for every time I heard "Are you ok?" or "Do you need help?" I would be rich! They're all so great!
Rick, the manager who interviewed me, actually turned out to be pretty cool. I later learned the day he interviewed me was not the best of timing for him. Joshua, another manager, is the diva of the restaurant. We talk about clothes, Lady Gaga, and he partially trained me in the alcohol department. That was an experience.
My job is great. Come in and ask for me and experience some of it for yourself! It's definitely hard work, but it's all worth it when I come home with $100 dollars in my pocket :) Happy Monday-I'm off to work!
