I Love to See the Temple

I went to Temple Square with a bunch of people and went to see the Joseph Smith movie and to walk around the Salt Lake City Temple. Even though it was/is 20 degrees I still managed to enjoy the lights and the nativity, but the best was the movie. I've seen it before but it honestly gets me every time.

I'm extremely lucky to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm not sure how someone could watch that movie and not feel something...not feel even a part of its truth. I'm grateful for Joseph Smith and his faith even as a teenager. He suffered so much so that I could enjoy the happiness I do today from the church.

Ok the temple...so pretty!! Except, DC Temple will always be number one for me. I'm trying to learn Anne-Marie Hildebrandt's arrangement of "I Love to See the Temple" (hence the blog title) and due to the lack of time it's progressing very slowly, but I'm determined to have it down before I'm done with 2nd semester--I know I'm slow. Anyway! I plan on constantly reminding myself of today in order to get through these next two weeks. Here are some pictures (including Thanksgiving)

5 hour delay getting home...was in my bed at 5:30am....gotta love snow!

how many strands does it take to cover  a  tree?

Oh ...PS. IT'S CHRISTMAS SEASON AND THE DORM IS DECORATED...PICTURES ARE COMING!!
